GASTRIC BALLOON

The Gastric Balloon is a minimally invasive obesity treatment. We use the Smart Capsule which is swallowed like any other capsule and then filled with a saline liquid while it is stabilized in the stomach, after filling it with liquid the capsule becomes swollen like a balloon then the exact tube connected to it is removed and taken out orally without any pain. This bulge inside the stomach causes the feeling of fullness and satiety and reduces the ability to eat and as a result the body begins to burn fat and go down in weight. The procedure is done under sedation and months later the Capsule is excreted naturally. It takes around 20 minutes and patients typically go home the same day.
